Clean simple accomodation, friendly ,hospitable hosts, dont speak much English butt was not a problem. Although only 5-10 min walk down to town,steep steps down to town and hard climb up hill to get back, need to be quite fit. Host would have preferred to be paid in Euros rather than local currency maybe didnt realise that booking .com requested that we pay in local currency but was all fine after speaking to local age.t. Nice garden to have breakfast in host provided tea cups plates cutlery kettle and fridge space.

Q Would have been easier if hosts spoke English a bit better

The ladies that run the rooms were extremely friendly and attentive during our visit to Dubrovnik. They treated us to coffee as soon as we got there, which I thought it was such a nice gesture, and gave us a map of the city and all sorts of tips and advice on places to go. The room we stayed in was very spacious and the bed huge and comfortable. Both the room and bathroom were spotless and we were also provided with towels. The location was excellent too; the rooms are 50 m from Dubrovnik Public Car Park and five minute walk from the Old City. I would highly recommend Rooms Drage and Marijana‏ for it is excellent value for money, the friendliness of the owners and its great location.
